Coronavirus update

The UK Government have said they will publish updates on Twitter at 2pm every day until further notice on the coronavirus in the UK.

On Wednesday 29th January 130 tests had been completed and all were confirmed negative.

This the same day British Airways suspended all direct flights to and from mainland China and the UK Government announced it planned to repatriate 200 citizens from Wuhan on 30 January and place them in quarantine – possibly in a military base.

Australia plans to quarantine 600 returning citizens on Christmas Island – 1,200 miles from mainland Australia!

YouDrive thinks:

It’s good that regular updates are being provided. The quarantining of UK people returning from Wuhan shows how serious this is.
